Common questions
Do I need an account? No. Pips works on your iPhone and Apple Watch without signing up. Friends is optional and uses your iCloud account — there is no Pips password.
How do I add a friend? Today → Friends (or Settings → Account → Friends) → create a Pips profile → Invite. Choose who to send the iCloud invitation to. When they accept, Pips offers them "Share yours back?" so you both see each other.
Friends says iCloud is unavailable. Sign in to iCloud in the Settings app (Settings → [your name]), make sure iCloud Drive is allowed for Pips if asked, and check you're online. The rest of Pips works without it.
What do friends see? Your display name, avatar colour and your main challenge's progress for the day: reps done, which slots were done or missed, and your streak. Never Health data, food, weight or chats.
How do I stop sharing with someone? On their row in Friends, open the menu and choose Remove friend or Block. Block also hides them if they share with you again.
How do I report someone? On their row in Friends, open the menu and choose Report. Your mail app opens with the details filled in; add what happened and send. We review every report. You can also Block them straight away.
How do I delete my Friends account? Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your profile and progress from iCloud, stops sharing with everyone and clears Friends from this iPhone.
How do I cancel Pips Pro? Settings → Pips Pro → Manage Subscription, or in the iPhone Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions. Restore Purchases is in Settings → Pips Pro.
Nudges are a few preset messages, at most one to each friend every two hours. There is no chat.
Community guidelines
Be kind. Nudges only. Display names must not be offensive, hateful or impersonate someone. If someone breaks this, block them and report them — we review every report.
